​GET TO KNOW THE PROJECT

Vibrant Homes started in November 2018.
The Tri County Women’s Centre designed the Vibrant Homes project with the desire to keep residents in their homes longer.  The project assisted Yarmouth County homeowners by carrying out basic maintenance or repairs needed to the home. 
Vibrant Homes collaborated with SHYFT Youth Services and youth apprentices worked alongside the project carpenter.  As a social enterprise pilot, the project explored the possibility of extending
Vibrant Homes’ services under such a model. ​

In November (2019), SHYFT Youth Services secured funding to re-launch the project as a social enterprise.
